High-Speed Printed Circuit Board Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Printed Circuit Board Design Engineer to join our cutting-edge automotive IoT hardware team.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and product managers at the intersection of embedded systems, wireless connectivity, and user-centric innovation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance printed circuit boards, creating documents for PCB assembly and fabrication using advanced CAD software, and analyzing and resolving design-related issues.

A strong understanding of PCB layer stack-up, common design rules, and experience working with engineering drawings are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-speed reliable printed circuit boards
  • Prepare documentation for PCB assembly and fabrication using CAD software
  • Develop layouts to improve circuit performance and reliability
  • Work on routing layout and resolve design-related issues
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production processes
  • Provide revisions based on customer and engineer specifications
  • Review and recommend improvements to existing designs
  • Assist in preparing test procedures to verify PCB functions

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of printed circuit board design principles
  • Experience with software such as OrCAD, Altium, and other relevant tools
  • Clear understanding of PCB layer stack-up and common design rules
  • Knowledge of common PCB design practices
  • Experience working with and designing engineering drawings
