Senior Electronics Specialist

Our team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced electronics specialist to play a key role in the development of cutting-edge electronic systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for innovation, problem-solving, and next-generation product development.

The successful specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex analog and digital electronic circuits for high-reliability applications. This includes:

  • Designing and prototyping ruggedized electronic systems with IP65/IP68-rated enclosures, optimized for harsh environments.
  • Creating and reviewing PCB layouts and schematics using industry-standard EDA tools like Altium Designer or Eagle.
  • Selecting suitable electronic components and materials for optimal performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborating closely with mechanical and software engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration.

Strong analytical skills and a proven track record in electronic circuit design, prototyping, PCB layout, testing, and system-level troubleshooting are essential.

This role offers the opportunity to lead complex R&D initiatives and work collaboratively within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary engineering team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complex electronic circuits for high-reliability applications.
  • Assist in designing and prototyping ruggedized electronic systems with IP65/IP68-rated enclosures.
  • Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies and prototypes.
Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proficiency in electronic circuit design, analysis, and simulation using tools like Altium Designer or OrCAD.
  • Strong expertise in PCB layout, schematic capture, and multi-layer board design.
  • Solid understanding of IP-rated (IP65, IP68) electronic enclosure requirements and ruggedization techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with prototyping, soldering, debugging, and lab equipment usage.
  • Knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and power supply design.
  • Familiarity with EMI/EMC considerations, signal integrity, and design for reliability.
  • Understanding of DFM and DFA best practices.
  • Proficiency in documentation tools and MS Office for reporting and design records.
Education & Other Qualifications

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Prior experience in defence, industrial, or high-reliability electronics product development is highly desirable.
