We are currently seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing unit.

This is a key leadership role that involves delivering production targets while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise all production activities on the shop floor to ensure timely output.
  • Supervise job placement, material flow, and stage-wise movement during fabrication and assembly.
  • Design and execute layout plans for new lines/projects including fixtures, gauges, and equipment installations.
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), daily production reports, machine logs, and breakdown records.
  • Manage in-process inventory and maintain an efficient flow across the production chain.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D and design teams for smooth onboarding of new products and structure types.

Our ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering and at least 5 years of experience in solar structure manufacturing or a related metal fabrication industry.

The selected individual will be proficient in managing production machinery, tooling, and quality control processes.

In addition, they should have a solid understanding of solar mounting structures and associated fabrication methods.

Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems is also highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with the team to drive lean manufacturing practices, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.

They will also be responsible for ensuring adherence to quality benchmarks and industry certifications specific to solar structure manufacturing.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in solar structure manufacturing or a related metal fabrication industry
  • Proficient in managing production machinery, tooling, and quality control processes
  • Solid understanding of solar mounting structures and associated fabrication methods
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, MS Excel, and production planning tools
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage shop floor teams and workflows
