Vriba is seeking an experienced Cloud Senior Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cloud engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based systems.

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement project objectives, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practice solutions. You will provide technical expertise on native tools provided by Azure or other cloud providers, ensuring adherence to standards, policies, and procedures.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and develop highly available, scalable, and secure cloud-based systems using Azure resources such as Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, and Security.
  • Collaborate with development teams to deploy and troubleshoot Azure PaaS resources using Private Link / Private Endpoint and vNet integration with resource types like Key Management, SQL, Cosmos DB, API Manager, Redis, Web / Function Apps, and Container Services.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure and process documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency.
  • Work with Cloud Operations team members to develop & implement standard automated builds for commonly deployed cloud resources.
  • Evaluate security of current Cloud deployments and implement/automate any needed controls.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure timely resolution of production issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience working within Enterprise IT.
  • Minimum 3 years working in and supporting production hyper-converged cloud environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of configuration and best practices around Azure resources to include vWan Hubs, Azure Firewalls, Azure network routing, VNETs, NSGs and general Azure networking model.
  • Expert knowledge of cloud-native resources and deployment to ensure scalability, resiliency, performance, and reliability.
  • Advanced understanding of automation/orchestration tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Power Shell, Azure CLI).
  • Advanced Knowledge of development languages; to include but not limited to Terraform, Bicep, JSON, Python, JavaScript, or YAML.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex problems or processes that span multiple business areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and understand business requirements and develop alternative solutions.
