Job Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Design Manager to lead our electrical design projects. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in designing DC SMPS based power systems for telecom and industrial applications. They should also be familiar with electro-mechanical designing of electrical panels, UPS panels, and MCC/PCC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute electrical design projects from conceptual design to completion.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external customers, addressing their queries and concerns.
  • Stay up-to-date with safety standards, such as IEC 60204-1 and IEC 61439-1-2, to ensure panel designs meet regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to optimize costs and improve efficiency.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in designing DC SMPS based power systems for telecom and industrial applications.
  • Knowledge of electro-mechanical designing of electrical panels, UPS panels, and MCC/PCC.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating SLD & Wiring Diagrams.
  • Familiarity with electrical switchgear, cables, bus-bar sizing, mechanical designing, wire harness, product quality, and safety norms.
  • Strong project management skills, including cost/schedule/resource planning and control.
