Web Scraping Engineer Position

The opportunity to work on developing essential applications, datasets, and alerts for various teams within the organization is available. This role will involve collaborating with analysts, designing and implementing Web scrapers, performing data cleaning and transformation, and maintaining alerting systems.

As a skilled software developer, you will contribute to growing an entrepreneurial group, have independence and trust, but also support from Engineering team leads and other technology team members. You will be given ownership and make your voice heard.

The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science or a related field, 2-4 years of software development experience, strong Python and SQL skills, and expertise in using the Pandas library. Familiarity with common scraping tools, containerizing workloads, and build automation is preferred.

  • Design, implement, and maintain Web scrapers for alternative datasets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement efficient data processing workflows.
  • Maintain alerting systems and investigate time-sensitive data incidents.
