Rotating Equipment Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Rotating Equipment Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of rotating equipment in the oil and gas industry.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions to our clients. You will provide technical expertise and support for the design, selection, and specification of rotating equipment, including pumps, turbines, compressors, and motors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, select, and specify rotating equipment to meet performance, reliability, and safety standards
  • Review and approve equipment datasheets, specifications, and procurement packages
  • Conduct technical evaluations of vendor bids and proposals
  • Participate in factory acceptance tests and site inspections of rotating equipment
  • Develop maintenance and inspection plans for rotating equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 6-15 years of experience in engineering and design of rotating equipment in the oil and gas industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of rotating equipment such as pumps, turbines, compressors, and motors
  • Familiarity with industry standards and codes related to rotating equipment design and installation
