Job Opportunity: Backend Developer for Blockchain Data

The role involves working on the backend development of a project that deals with blockchain data. This includes decoding smart contract events, implementing pricing logic from decentralized exchanges (DEXs), and building robust data pipelines.

  • Develop event decoders for major DeFi protocols such as Uniswap, Curve, and Balancer.
  • Build and maintain data extractors to convert on-chain events into structured trade data.
  • Implement logic to calculate trade prices including handling swap routing, liquidity pool math, and price inference.
  • Collaborate with data and infra teams to build efficient and scalable data ingestion pipelines.
  • Optimize performance and accuracy of pricing models such as TWAP and oracle logic.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

  • At least 2–5 years of experience in backend development in Go or Rust.
  • A strong understanding of Ethereum smart contract ABI decoding and event logs.
  • Experience working with DeFi protocols, especially understanding of AMM math including constant product formulas and Uniswap V3 ticks.
  • Familiarity with EVM-based chains and Ethereum node infrastructure.
  • Experience building data extraction or indexing tools.
  • Ability to work independently and own complex backend systems from design to deployment.
