Senior Blockchain Developer

We are seeking a highly experienced Backend + Smart Contract Developer with a strong grasp of blockchain architecture and mid-level AWS expertise to join our innovative Web3 team.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Ethereum, EVM architecture, L2 scaling solutions, DeFi/NFT standards (ERC20, ERC721, ERC1155) and proficiency in Solidity, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and at least one systems language (Go, Rust, or C++).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Smart Contract Development:
  • Achieve secure smart contract development for Ethereum, EVM-compatible chains, and other L1/L2 networks using Solidity/Rust.
  • Conduct in-depth testing, auditing, and gas optimization for seamless scalability.
  • Backend Engineering & Blockchain Architecture:
  • Design high-performance backend systems and scalable blockchain architectures that cater to global needs.
  • Build and maintain APIs, node integrations, and indexing services like The Graph, Alchemy, or Infura.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure (AWS):
  • Deploy and manage backend services using AWS best practices including EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization via Docker/Kubernetes, and monitoring solutions for enhanced system security.
  • Security & Optimization:
  • Evaluate vulnerabilities and mitigate them using industry-standard best practices.
  • Collaboration & Ownership:
  • Work closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver robust end-to-end blockchain products.
  • Take complete ownership from architecture to deployment, ensuring production-readiness.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years in backend development and 2+ years in smart contract development experience.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including Solidity, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and at least one systems language (Go, Rust, or C++).
  • Deep understanding of Ethereum, EVM architecture, L2 scaling solutions, DeFi/NFT standards (ERC20, ERC721, ERC1155), and blockchain solution architecture for scalable dApps.
  • Mid-level experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS) and familiarity with common smart contract vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.
  • Proven ability to deliver secure, scalable, production-ready blockchain systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle, Web3.js / Ethers.js.
  • AWS DevOps experience for blockchain-based apps, including CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration.
  • Cross-chain development and interoperability protocol expertise.
  • Knowledge of zero-knowledge proofs (ZK-SNARKs/STARKs).
  • Experience with audited DeFi protocols.
  • Familiarity with L2 rollups, bridges, and advanced blockchain scaling techniques.
  • Exposure to NFTs, DeFi mechanics, and modern blockchain infrastructure.
