Technical Leader

We are seeking an exceptional engineer to drive the development of our engineering team. As a key leader, you will be responsible for designing and implementing core systems, building production-grade software, and fostering a culture of innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop AI platform capabilities, including gen-AI services, prompt orchestration, and data retrieval.
  • Build high-throughput content processing pipelines, storage, and delivery systems with strong observability and cost control.
  • Implement identity, privacy, and trust features, including consent-driven flows, signed links/tokens, and abuse prevention.
  • Design data platforms that ingest and normalize external data, model entities/relationships, and expose a clean query layer for applications and partners.
  • Ship modern user interfaces and APIs for internal and external stakeholders, with performance and reliability budgets.
  • Ensure operational excellence through logs/metrics/traces, automated tests, incident runbooks, and a sane release cadence.

Requirements:

  • 6-10+ years of experience in building production systems as the primary builder.
  • Evidence of turning ambiguous product problems into working software in days, not quarters.
  • Hands-on experience with gen-AI, real users, and lessons from failures.
  • Strong systems thinking, including data models, consistency trade-offs, perf budgets, and failure handling.
  • Security and privacy instincts, including PII handling, consent, audit trails, and regulatory awareness.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including crisp documentation, READMEs, and runbooks.

Career Path & Title:

  • Start as Technical Leader (IC).
  • As we scale, choose either the Principal/Distinguished IC track or the CTO/VP Eng path once a team exists and needs management.
