Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

As a cloud infrastructure specialist, you will be responsible for deploying and managing virtual machines, storage, and networking services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Azure Cloud Management:
    • Deploy, configure, and manage Azure resources including virtual machines, storage, and networking.
    • Implement and maintain Azure Active Directory (AAD) and related identity management solutions.
    • Monitor and optimize Azure resource utilization and costs.
  • Office 365 Administration:
    • Manage and support Office 365 applications including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
    • Administer user accounts, licenses, and permissions within Office 365 ensuring compliance and security.
    • Troubleshoot issues and provide support for Office 365 services across the organization.
  • Security & Compliance:
    • Implement security best practices including multi-factor authentication (MFA), data loss prevention (DLP), and access controls.
    • Monitor for potential security threats and take action to resolve vulnerabilities.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational security policies.
  • Automation & Optimization:
    • Develop and maintain scripts for automated cloud administration tasks.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement automation to increase efficiency.
  • Backup, Recovery, and Disaster Recovery:
    • Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans for critical cloud services.
    • Regularly test and update recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Documentation & Training:
    • Create and maintain technical documentation for cloud infrastructure configurations and procedures.
    • Provide guidance and training to other IT staff on cloud administration best practices.
