Job Overview

This position plays a pivotal role in the supply chain operations of our manufacturing facility. The Logistics Manager will oversee the entire logistics process, from procurement to delivery, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the logistics function to meet business objectives and customer requirements.
  • Develop and implement efficient supply chain strategies to reduce costs and improve service levels.
  • Negotiate with vendors and freight forwarders to secure best prices and services.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution.
  • Monitor supplier performance to assess their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
  • Analyze forecasts and quotas to identify changes and determine their impact on supply chain activities.
  • Implement environmental policies and practices in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of national and international import/export legislation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
