Mergers and acquisitions are key drivers for business growth, enabling companies to enhance capabilities, reduce operational costs or generate value through strategic transactions.

The traditional view of value optimisation in a deal is due for an overhaul. In today's market, creating value requires a broader, bolder perspective that considers multiple stakeholders and global teams.

Core Deal Value Creation Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver post-merger integration, carve-out, and operational assessment projects.
  • Interact with leadership and CXOs at clients during project delivery.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders in client teams at all levels as well as within BDO.
  • Drive business development and practice management initiatives.
  • Seamlessly collaborate with global teams at both the client and BDO ends.
  • Develop complex models in Excel and executive-level presentations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Business Development: Support partners/directors in building practices in the north region for BDO in India.
  • Responsible for planning and implementing integration/separations of various front office and back office functions.
  • Have experience delivering project management engagements with strong PMO skills and high-pressure deal environment abilities.
  • Ability to understand complex deal situations and its implications on clients/targets business models.
  • Decent knowledge about operations and processes across different functions in an organisation.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI skills.
