Automation Engineer Role

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of automation workflows and job scheduling across diverse platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform upgrades, installations, configurations, and deployments of automation engine infrastructure.
  • Design, develop, and implement automation workflows to optimize resource utilization and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain scripts to support automation processes.
  • Monitor and manage Oracle Retail batch jobs, ensuring reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve job failures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Middleware and Oracle Retail applications.
  • Functional knowledge of the Retail industry, particularly in supply chain, omnichannel shopping, ecommerce, order management, and logistics.
  • Experience working in complex matrix environments with internal and external stakeholders.

Good to Have:

  • Ability to design and develop automation solutions that meet business needs.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and version control systems.
