Cloud Infrastructure Leadership

We are seeking an experienced leader to manage the delivery of cloud infrastructure projects related to our AWS environments. This role combines strategic oversight, systems administration expertise, and client-facing responsibilities to ensure the performance, security, and scalability of cloud environments.

The successful candidate will oversee cross-functional projects, manage cloud-focused teams, and collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and clients. The position requires strong technical expertise in AWS, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate projects in dynamic and distributed environments.

This role plays a critical part in advancing cloud adoption, team productivity, and client success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cloud infrastructure projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and coach teams on Agile principles.
  • Oversee projects end-to-end, including planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
  • Track progress, manage risks, and ensure on-time delivery within budget.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent professional experience is mandatory.
  • 5+ years in systems administration, with at least 3 years managing AWS environments.
  • 4+ years in project management or Scrum Master roles in IT or cloud-based environments.
  • 2+ years of client-facing experience, including requirements gathering and solution delivery.
  • 2+ years of team leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale cloud deployments and hybrid/multi-cloud infrastructures.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux systems administration.
  • Understanding of cloud security practices and monitoring tools (SIEM).
Leadership and Soft Skills:
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to motivate, mentor, and manage technical teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset focused on efficiency, reliability, and client satisfaction.
Availability:
  • Flexibility to work late-night shifts for system maintenance, project deadlines, and global client needs.
  • Occasional on-call availability for escalations.
