Job Title: Senior Data EngineerOverview:

As a senior data engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining cloud-based data architectures. This involves building scalable real-time and batch processing workflows, deploying data solutions on cloud platforms, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Workflow Development
    • Design, build, and maintain scalable real-time and batch processing workflows using Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Apache Spark.
    • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data from various systems.
  • Cloud Architecture
    • Design and maintain cloud-based data architectures, including data lakes, lakehouses, and warehouses, following industry best practices.
    • Deploy and optimize data solutions on Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
  • Data Pre-Processing
    • Perform data pre-processing tasks, including cleaning, transformation, deduplication, normalization, encoding, and scaling, to ensure high-quality input for downstream analytics.
  • Collaboration
    • Collaborate with the automation team, data scientists, and engineers to provide clean, structured data for AI/ML models.
