Job Title

A seasoned Governance Specialist is required to drive organizational excellence through the development, implementation, and monitoring of governance policies and processes.

This pivotal role will play a key part in shaping the future of our organization by identifying, developing, and implementing initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and governance processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency and governance processes.
  • Policies and Process Development: Create, document, and maintain organization-level policies and processes to ensure consistency, compliance, and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Metrics Management: Collect, analyze, and publish organization-level metrics to provide insights into performance, compliance, and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance and Standards Adherence: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and maintain a robust governance framework that aligns with organizational goals.
  • Internal Audit Support: Assist in conducting internal audits, providing necessary documentation, insights, and recommendations to ensure compliance and process integrity.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align governance practices with business objectives and product lifecycle requirements.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify risks in governance processes and implement controls to mitigate them.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Product Lifecycle Governance: Strong understanding of product development lifecycle (PDLC) governance principles and best practices.
  • PDLCKnowledge: Familiarity with the basics of the Product Development Lifecycle, including stages, deliverables, and governance checkpoints.
  • Process Development and Optimization: Proven ability to document and implement policies and processes that drive organizational efficiency.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to produce meaningful metrics and reports.
  • Compliance and Standards Expertise: Knowledge of PDLC governance frameworks with experience ensuring adherence to these standards.
  • Audit Support: Experience assisting with internal audits and addressing findings.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders and present governance-related insights.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong ability to identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Information Technology. A master's degree or relevant certifications is a plus.
  • [For Assistant Manager]: Up to 5 years of experience in governance, process improvement, or a related role.
  • [For Manager]: 7+ years of experience in governance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated experience in product lifecycle governance and process development.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
