**Job Title:** Site Reliability Engineering Leader

**About the Role:**

The Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team at our organization is looking for a seasoned leader to help define, drive, and implement the SRE strategy.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Methodology Development: Develop and implement methodologies for identifying toil-heavy processes and strategies for automation and elimination.
  • SLO Development: Collaborate with teams to develop and implement Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for critical services.
  • Monitoring Strategy: Design and implement monitoring strategies with Engineering and develop capabilities to enhance service quality and optimize delivery.
  • Capacity Planning: Conduct capacity planning and lead architectural reviews for reliability improvements.
  • Chaos Engineering: Perform chaos engineering exercises to improve incident response and drive continuous improvement.
**Requirements:**
  • Leadership Experience: 12+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or a related field.
  • Communication Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive change initiatives.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience with engineering and operational service metrics, SRE strategy, and automation tools.
  • Tech Knowledge: Knowledge of software development life cycles, cloud computing platforms, and containerization technologies.
