Key Responsibilities:
  • To oversee and manage regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests in order to identify and mitigate security risks is crucial for this role.
  • The ability to supervise and coordinate the monitoring and analysis of security alerts and incidents, and ensure a prompt response to security breaches is highly valued.
  • This position requires collaboration with IT and other departments to ensure that security measures are integrated into all aspects of the organisation's operations.
  • Security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection solutions must be maintained and overseen by the successful candidate.
  • Developing and conducting security awareness training for employees is essential to promote a culture of security within the organisation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is necessary for this role.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are desirable but not mandatory.
  • No less than 12-15 years of experience in Information Security, Cyber Security is required.

This role demands strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
