Job Description:

As a Senior Statutory Audit Professional, you will be responsible for leading statutory audits, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and adding value to client portfolios through your specialist knowledge. You will also assist in client management and relationship development, while providing coaching and mentoring to junior members of staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Audit planning, execution, and finalization.
  • Adding value by applying your specialist knowledge to client portfolios.
  • Assisting in client management and relationship development.
  • Statutory compliance under various laws such as income tax act, sales tax etc.
  • Regular submissions/postings to knowledge databases.
  • Coaching and mentoring junior members of staff.
  • Continuous monitoring of time and costs during the assignment.
  • Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with clients (adapting to changed work environments at different clients/locations).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of auditing and accounting standards.
  • 0-2 years post-qualification experience.
  • Excellent presentation and English communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity.
  • Proactive and result-oriented approach.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills.
