Quality Assurance Director

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Director to lead our quality planning, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives across projects/programs. This individual will be responsible for defining and tracking software quality metrics, managing deviations, ensuring compliance, conducting audits, and overseeing QA KPIs to drive continuous performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain complaint/non-conformance processing and implement corrective actions
  • Monitor risk and analyze problem logs to identify areas for improvement
  • Apply best practices in development, testing, version control, and defect management to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Lead strategic quality planning and implementation to meet business objectives
  • Drive root cause analysis and facilitate effective corrective and preventative actions to minimize defects

Requirements:

  • At least 5-10 years of experience as a Delivery Lead or Quality Assurance and Quality Control Lead with a proven track record of success
  • Sound understanding of SDLC processes and methodologies including Agile/Kanban/Scrum with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
  • Expertise in Quality Management activities, including audits and assessments, with a focus on process improvement
  • Good knowledge and experience in IT service management operations, including service desk and incident management
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills along with effective communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Training and certifications in ITIL/CMMI models/Six Sigma/Lean Process to drive continuous improvement
  • Experience working in the US Healthcare industry with knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards
