Apparel Sourcing Specialist

The Apparel Sourcing Specialist is responsible for identifying and securing high-quality suppliers of fabrics, trims, and finished garments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential suppliers that meet quality, compliance, and cost standards.
  • Negotiate favorable pricing with suppliers to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to develop and approve samples that meet design specifications and quality standards.
  • Oversee the production process to ensure timely delivery of orders, adherence to quality standards, and resolution of any production issues.
  • Ensure all sourcing activities comply with company policies and legal requirements, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration and ensuring mutual growth.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform sourcing strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in apparel sourcing, with a focus on FOB operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with sourcing and procurement software is a plus.
  • Strong ability to negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost-effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in English is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
