Job Overview

We seek a senior homologation expert to lead the homologation process for retrofit emission control devices and automotive related products. The candidate will be responsible for driving all homologation-related activities, including technical and non-technical aspects, leading the homologation team, and ensuring the successful completion of type-approval and COP projects that meet regulatory compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic homologation plans for retrofit emission control devices and automotive related products.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with test agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the homologation team, ensuring effective execution of homologation strategies and meeting deadlines.
  • Monitor and report on the homologation process, including risks and issues, to senior management.
  • Foster a culture of process-driven innovation across the engineering team, promoting cross-functional collaboration and open communication.
  • Manage external homologation partners and provide guidance on homologation requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in homologation, certification, or regulatory compliance, with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
