Job Opportunity:

A skilled Automotive Calibration Engineer will be responsible for generating and calibrating vehicle pedal maps, brake maps, regen maps, and parameters related to torque path, creep control, hill hold control, vehicle tip-in tip-out, acceleration, speed limitation, and torque limits. This individual will also perform vehicle level drivability calibration, torque path calibration, and calibration for meeting range and energy consumption targets at in-house and homologation certification test facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine Vehicle Pedal maps, Brake maps, Regen Maps, and Parameters related to Torque Path
  • Pursue Vehicle level drivability calibration and Torque Path calibration to meet Drivability standards
  • Deliver Calibration for meeting Range and Energy Consumption Targets both at Inhouse and at Homologation Certification Test facilities
  • Collaborate with Simulation and Modelling engineers to gather relevant insights relevant for calibration
  • Perform calibration of Sensors used for SoC measurement
  • Perform calibration of Battery management system (BMS) functions
  • Perform calibration of specific motor control parameters related to drivability
  • Coordinate with other departments such as architecture, software development, and validation team to ensure achievement of calibration goals
  • Maintain and manage all calibration changes as applicable to different vehicle variants
