Senior SAP Security Consultant

This role involves the design and implementation of SAP security roles, profiles, and authorizations across multiple platforms.

  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP ECC, BW, Solution Manager, S/4HANA, Fiori, SAP Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), and SAP Identity Management (IDM).
  • Strong understanding of SAP security design principles, role architecture, and segregation of duties risk identification and remediation is essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking abilities, and strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are required.

The Senior SAP Security Consultant will be working with a reputable global IT professional services company, delivering enterprise solution consulting, business intelligence, business process automation, and managed services to clients across various industries.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and configure SAP security roles, profiles, and authorizations.
  • Manage user provisioning, access requests, and license assignments using SAP IDM.
  • Apply position-based access control models where appropriate.
  • Maintain Firefighter (FF) access via SAP GRC 12.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, SoD requirements, and audit controls.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP authorization issues, IDM provisioning problems, and SAP cloud access challenges.
  • Support security aspects of system maintenance, upgrades, migrations, and new project implementations.
  • Monitor SAP security logs, identify potential risks, and take proactive action.
  • Collaborate with functional, technical, and audit teams to deliver secure and compliant SAP solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain security documentation, reports, and training materials.
  • Lead and manage large-scale SAP Security design and restructuring projects.
  • Provide high-level support for SAP security across Development, Test/QA, and Production environments.
