Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Power BI UI/UX Specialist to take our dashboards and reports to the next level.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UI/UX design principles, data storytelling, and Power BI customization, ensuring that every visualization not only conveys insights but also engages and delights the end user.

This role focuses on crafting visually compelling, user-friendly, and intuitive BI experiences unlike a generic dashboard developer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports with a strong emphasis on aesthetics, usability, and storytelling.
  • Apply UI/UX best practices to ensure dashboards are intuitive, easy to navigate, and visually appealing.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into elegant visualization solutions.
  • Customize visuals, themes, layouts, and interactions in Power BI to create impactful user experiences.
  • Optimize dashboard performance while maintaining high design quality.
  • Stay updated with the latest visualization trends and Power BI features to continuously improve design standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 3+ years of proven experience designing UI/UX for Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing visually compelling and user-centric BI dashboards.
  • Proficiency in Power BI customization, including themes, bookmarks, and advanced visuals.
  • A solid understanding of data visualization best practices and design principles.
  • Experience in data storytelling—turning complex datasets into clear and engaging narratives.
