Job Title: Enterprise Network Architect

Key Responsibilities:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Network Architect to design, implement, and manage our enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Maintaining knowledge of current network vendor technologies and associated software is crucial for this role.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience administering Cisco network equipment including routers, switches, access points, and controllers.
  • This individual will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting enterprise network equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Resolving complex issues involving multiple technologies requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Assisting with the installation and configuration of infrastructure equipment is an essential part of this role.
  • The Enterprise Network Architect will work closely with carriers to configure and troubleshoot WAN circuits and equipment.
  • Mentoring junior engineers is also a key responsibility of this position.
  • Ensuring that our network meets compliance standards is critical for our organization's success.
  • This role also involves providing on-call support for production systems and performing configuration management using Ansible and other tools.
  • Developing and maintaining accurate network documentation is essential for effective communication and collaboration within the team.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience with Cisco routers/switches and network equipment is necessary for this role.
  • Experience implementing Cisco ISE and DNA Center is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of SD-WAN and SDN is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience working with VMware, Docker, and AWS environments is also preferred.
  • Knowledge of Python and Ansible is a must for this position.
Certifications:
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional certification is a requirement for this role.
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert certification is highly desirable but not mandatory.
