Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our sales strategy and drive revenue growth nationally. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales plan that aligns with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development:
    • Build and lead regional sales teams to generate revenue and expand our customer base.
    • Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities to maximize sales potential.
    • Develop and improve sales analytics to monitor and track sales performance and make data-driven decisions.
    • Develop go-to-market strategies for new regions, including market research, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning.
  • Revenue Generation:
    • Drive revenue growth by effectively managing and expanding the sales pipeline, identifying new business opportunities, and closing deals.
    • Understand the customer buying process and needs, focusing on solutions that meet their challenges and keeping a consultative approach.
    • Evolving the team to a revenue-generating mindset from a service delivery orientation.
    • Maintaining strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive long-term growth.
    • Active involvement in strategic sales activities, including super premium account management and deal negotiations.
  • Sales Operations:
    • Implement and optimize sales processes, workflows, and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity, resulting in better retention of customers and upsell/cross-sell of products.
    • Collaborate with other departments to drive engagement with school stakeholders, resulting in increased customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales metrics, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
  • Customer Delight:
    • Increase customer loyalty and satisfaction by addressing customer needs, pain points, and feedback, creating a WOW factor and increasing bonding.
    • Identify factors and facets that drive customer loyalty, using this information to inform sales strategies and improve customer relationships.
