Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Database Specialist to join our IT team. As a key member of our database administration team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security, availability, and performance of our databases. This role involves collaborating with our team to design, develop, and maintain our database systems.

Responsibilities :

  • Design, implement, and maintain database architecture and schema
  • Configure and optimize database software and tools
  • Monitor and analyze database performance and capacity
  • Develop and execute backup and recovery procedures
  • Ensure database security and compliance with policies and standards
  • Collaborate with other IT staff and stakeholders to identify and resolve database issues

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
  • Proficient in SQL and database management systems (DBMS) Oracle and SQL Server
  • Familiarity with database design, development, and administration tools and techniques
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Flexibility to work in different time zones and schedules
