Area Technical Leadership

The ideal candidate will define the technical vision for Crew software, ensuring alignment to our reference architecture, enterprise data standards, and modernisation priorities including cloud-first and AI-enhanced solutions.

  • Define the technology roadmap and ensure alignment to reference architecture, enterprise data standards, and modernisation priorities.
  • Pave the way for squads to deliver autonomously at pace by removing technology blockers, decoupling applications, and streamlining processes.
  • Plan, define, and design solutions that enable velocity through tech enablers such as DevOps, containerisation, and API-first design.
  • Work with Chapter leads to define and forecast Crew tech capability requirements and support implementation of practices, tooling, and training.
  • Drive operational excellence and support teams in charge of mission-critical production services with diverse stakeholders and complex dependencies.
  • Drive good design, refactoring, and technical debt elimination to ensure technical debt and associated impacts are visible to Crew.
  • Ensure delivery within set objectives and actively manage and mitigate delivery and delivered risk.
  • Accountable for the development, performance management, and career progression of a number of Technology roles.
