Job Description

Lead Process Policy Manager Position

The role involves ensuring compliance with various liabilities and payment products regulations as per regulators like RBI/Internal Audit Teams/NPCI. The candidate will work on the process and policy framework for products, including savings accounts, fixed deposits, debit cards, and payment products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and adhere to all compliance-related items and assist in external and internal audits.
  • Strengthen systems, controls, and processes for robust internal and external compliance.
  • Liaise with different departments to ensure strict adherence to RBI-related circulars.
  • Have a good understanding of RBI processes & policies, audit parameters, AML guidelines, and fraud management.
  • Be responsible for all regulatory reporting related to policies and processes, including reporting to RBI/AML/CPU teams.
  • Determine the impact of introducing new or revised policies for branches/customers/products.
  • Serve as a focal point to ensure continuity, proper integration, and implementation of new or revised policies and processes.
  • Build synergies and efficiencies through customer-centric processes.
  • Interact and coordinate with multiple product teams and business functions for effective and efficient delivery within specified timelines.
  • Draft and review process guidelines for product teams; act as a mediator for answering questions related to policies & processes.
  • Identify duplicate, redundant, and unproductive tasks in processes with an aim to reduce costs and improve productivity of front-line staff.
  • Ensure processes and policies are aligned to internal and external guidelines.
