The position involves the design, construction, and scale of backend services for a global art information platform.

Responsibilities:
  • Backend Service Development: Design, build, and maintain robust backend services in Python that can handle large volumes of data and traffic.
  • AI Model Integration: Integrate machine learning models into production APIs and pipelines for recommendations and personalization, ensuring seamless integration and high performance.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with ML engineers and product teams to deliver AI-driven features that meet business requirements and user needs.
  • Low-Latency API Development: Develop low-latency APIs for serving recommendations and intelligent results, ensuring fast and accurate responses.
  • Vector Database Management: Work with vector databases (Qdrant, Pinecone, Elasticsearch) to power similarity search and embeddings, optimizing system performance and scalability.
  • Cloud Deployment: Deploy, monitor, and scale services in cloud environments, ensuring reliability, security, and efficiency.
  • System Architecture: Contribute to system architecture, performance optimization, and design decisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical excellence.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Implementation: Implement CI/CD pipelines with strong testing and code quality practices, ensuring smooth development, testing, and deployment processes.
Requirements:
  • Backend Expertise: Strong understanding of backend architecture and distributed systems, with experience building and deploying production-ready APIs.
  • ML Model Integration: Proven track record of integrating ML models or AI services into backend infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and high performance.
  • Cloud and DevOps Skills: Hands-on expertise with cloud platforms and DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform), ensuring efficient deployment, monitoring, and scaling of services.
  • Database Knowledge: Database expertise: SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (Redis, Elasticsearch).
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills in remote team settings, ensuring effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
