Job Summary:

We are seeking an exceptional individual for a faculty position in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science to join our academic team. The successful candidate will have a strong research background in AI, Data Science, and AIML, with a proven track record of publications in reputable journals and conferences.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in core Computer Science and Allied courses, including programming fundamentals, data structures, operating systems, computer architecture, object-oriented programming, software engineering, design and analysis of algorithms, computer networks, compiler designs, DevOps, artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, or related areas.

The successful candidate will also have the ability to stay abreast of the latest emerging trends and technologies in AI/AIML/DS, such as reinforcement learning, generative models, or ethical AI.

Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students in AI, Data Science, and AIML.
  • Conducting cutting-edge research in AI, Data Science, and AIML, publishing findings in reputable journals and conferences, and pursuing external funding to support research activities.
  • Supervising and mentoring graduate students, providing guidance and support in their research endeavors.
  • Collaborating with industry partners to apply AI/AIML techniques to real-world problems and foster technology transfer.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong research background in AI, Data Science, and AIML.
  • Proven experience in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in core Computer Science and Allied courses.
  • Expertise in programming languages commonly used in AI research, such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar tools.
  • Ability to stay abreast of the latest emerging trends and technologies in AI/AIML/DS.
