Job Title:

  • Financial Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The Financial Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with tax laws and regulations, and effective payroll management.

Responsibilities:

Financial Operations
  • Manage the firm's general ledger, journals, and financial statements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for stakeholders.
  • Oversee fund performance tracking, including cash flow management, capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting.
Taxation Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with US taxation laws for venture capital funds.
  • Monitor and stay updated on changes in US tax regulations affecting the fund's operations and investor relations.
  • Work closely with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure accurate tax filings and tax planning.
Payroll Management
  • Oversee payroll processing for Indian employees.
  • Manage the calculation of salaries, bonuses, and deductions (e.g., Provident Fund, ESI, TDS).
  • Ensure timely disbursement of salaries and handle all related administrative tasks.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and audits.
  • Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial transparency.
Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure financial operations comply with relevant regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and documentation for all financial transactions, audits, and tax filings.
