Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to spearhead our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive HSE plan that aligns with our organization's overall business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Factory Act, Environmental guidelines, HSE regulations, standards, and best practices. Experience in green field/brown field expansion projects and environmental compliance and permitting is essential.

The key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and implementing a comprehensive HSE strategy
  2. Ensuring regulatory compliance
  3. Conducting regular risk assessments
  4. Investigating and analysing incidents
  5. Developing emergency response plans
  6. Delivering HSE training programs
  7. Tracking and reporting on HSE performance indicators
  8. Fostering a culture of continuous improvement

The successful candidate will be a Bachelor's degree holder in occupational safety and health or a related field. Minimum 5+ years of experience in HSE management, preferably in a metal & mining industry, is required. Approved Safety officer as per Odisha Factory Act is mandatory.
