Job Title:

Application Deployment Specialist

 

The role of Application Deployment Specialist involves providing expert-level support for the preparation, testing, and release of applications within customer environments.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure seamless application packaging and deployment across various Windows operating systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and requests related to packages, adhering to agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Manage and support complex customer environments built with Windows client operating systems, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to enhance application deployment processes, minimizing business impact and SLA breaches.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors to address application-related queries and concerns.

 

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of four years of experience in preparing applications for deployment on Windows Operating Systems.
  • Strong expertise in MSI and MSIX packaging frameworks, Windows 11, AD Group Policies, PowerShell Scripting, and operational knowledge of Microsoft Intune product family.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in preparing applications for Citrix environments.
  • Microsoft Certifications such as MD-100: Windows 10 and MD-101: Managing modern desktops.
  • Proven ability to work in an international environment, supporting multiple customer environments simultaneously.
