Job Title: Cloud Solutions Architect

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Taggd. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing cloud-native backend systems for connected vehicle platforms.

About the Role:

In this position, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining cloud-native microservices that support seamless cloud-vehicle communication. You will design and implement RESTful APIs, gRPC, and other interfaces to ensure efficient data exchange between vehicles and the cloud.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet the needs of our customers. This includes ensuring seamless integration with third-party platforms for analytics and data exchange.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud-native microservices using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, IoT Core, and Kinesis.
  • Develop and maintain backend systems with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Optimize backend performance to handle high-throughput, low-latency automotive scenarios.
  • Ensure secure device provisioning, certificate management, and communication protocols.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align on requirements and project milestones.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud-native backend development, preferably with AWS.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, or Go.
  • Deep knowledge of AWS services, especially IoT architectures, serverless computing, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
  • AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect certification is preferred.
Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000, depending on location and experience.
