Searce Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Architect to join our team. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and reliable cloud solutions.

About the Role

This position requires a deep understanding of GCP services and architecture, with a proven track record of working in a global enterprise environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements, architect GCP-based solutions, and provide technical leadership throughout the development and deployment phases.

Responsibilities
  • You will consult with clients and propose architectural solutions to help move and improve infrastructure from on-premise to cloud or optimize cloud spend from one public cloud to another.
  • Be the first one to experiment on new-age cloud offerings, help define best practices as a thought leader for cloud, automation, and Dev-Ops, be a solution visionary and technology expert across multiple channels.
  • Continually augment skills and learn new technologies as they evolve.
  • Use your experience in Google Cloud Platform and AWS to build hybrid-cloud solutions for customers.
  • Provide leadership to project teams, facilitate the definition of project deliverables around core Cloud-based technology and methods, lead and oversee organization's strategic initiatives and enterprise-level projects.
  • Define tracking mechanisms and ensure IT standards and methodology are met; deliver quality results.
  • Participate in technical reviews of requirements, designs, code, and other artifacts.
  • Identify and keep abreast of new technical concepts in Google Cloud Platform.
  • Security, Risk, and Compliance - advise customers on best practices around access management, network setup, regulatory compliance, and related areas.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for migrating on-premises applications and infrastructure to cloud platforms.
  • Define migration strategies, considering factors such as workload dependencies, data integrity, and business continuity.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from a reputable institute or programming experience from 12 years old.
  • Passion to tech-awesome, insatiable desire to learn the latest of the new-age cloud tech, highly analytical aptitude, and a strong 'desire to deliver' outlives those fancy degrees.
  • 9+ years of experience with at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Computing (AWS/GCP) and IT operational experience in a global enterprise environment.
  • 3+ years proven experience as a GCP Architect.
  • In-depth knowledge of GCP services, including compute, storage, networking, and databases.
  • Familiarity with migration tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of programming against cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform and lean development methodologies.
  • Good analytical, communication, problem-solving, and learning skills.
Estimated Salary

$120,000 - $180,000 per year based on industry standards and location.
