Job Title:

A senior professional responsible for overseeing the implementation of regulatory capital rules and ensuring compliance with relevant prudential regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing effective controls to minimize risks and optimize returns
  • Conducting thorough analysis to identify potential sources of loss and estimate financial consequences
  • Providing strategic guidance on regulatory compliance and risk management across advanced Model permissions
  • Advising on complex regulations, interpreting specific parts of the Prudential Rulebook, and escalating queries relating to prudential regulatory compliance
  • Overseeing internal governance for adherence to regulatory permissions through Risk-owned Permissions and maintenance of a central Permissions library
Requirements:
  • Expertise in current IHC, UK, and EU Regulatory Capital and Liquidity Rules or willingness and aptitude to learn the rules
  • Proven track record of dealing with complex transactions, understanding their commercial rationale, and applying judgment in the interpretation and application of regulatory requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to engage with stakeholders at multiple levels, and work effectively individually and as part of a global team

  • Managing and mitigating risks through assessment in support of the control and governance agenda
  • Demonstrating leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does
