Production Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Director to oversee the garment manufacturing process at Pearl Global Industries Ltd (PGIL).

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in garment production, with a proven track record of ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, meeting quality standards, and delivering products on time.

• Oversight of day-to-day production operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to production schedules.
• Development and implementation of production strategies to meet business objectives of cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Management and leadership of a team of production supervisors, line managers, and production workers to achieve optimal performance.
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and promoting a culture of health and safety across the factory.
• Optimization of production processes through lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other relevant techniques to reduce waste and improve productivity.
• Collaboration with design, merchandising, and procurement teams to ensure production plans are aligned with market demand and material availability.
• Management of factory budgets, control of production costs, and driving cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
• Monitoring and analysis of production data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensuring adherence to quality standards throughout the production process, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Garment Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in garment manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior production management role.
• Strong knowledge of garment production processes, materials, machinery, and technologies.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other productivity improvement methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage large teams in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to manage production costs effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
