Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Playwright and solid experience in JavaScript/TypeScript.

The successful applicant will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks using Playwright.
  • Write, execute, and maintain automation test scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Github Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and cross-browser testing.
  • Identify, log, and track defects while ensuring timely resolution.
  • Drive best practices in automation testing and mentor junior QA engineers when needed.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of professional experience in QA Automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Playwright automation.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation.
  • Good knowledge of testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
  • Familiarity with API testing (REST/GraphQL) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other automation frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, etc.).
  • Knowledge of performance and security testing concepts.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
