Quality Assurance Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance expert to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our fintech products.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and implementing automation strategies, frameworks, and tools to drive effective testing of complex systems.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers, to identify testing requirements, develop test plans, and execute automated tests throughout the software development lifecycle.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement automation strategies, frameworks, and tools to drive effective testing of complex systems.
  • Lead the design and development of automated test scripts and test suites for web-based, API, and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.
  • Analyse system requirements and technical specifications to identify areas for automation and define appropriate test scenarios.
  • Perform hands-on testing of complex features and functionalities, utilising both manual and automated testing techniques.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior members of the QA team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in automation testing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance and minimum 2 years of experience in people management role.
  • Strong programming and automation skills, with expertise in developing and implementing automation strategies, frameworks, and tools.
  • Proven experience in designing and building automated test scripts and suites for web, API, and mobile applications.
  • Extensive experience collaborating with software engineers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
