Business Operations Specialist

We are seeking a Business Operations Specialist to analyze and interpret client data, utilizing advanced software tools to model exposures and generate insights that enable better risk management.

The key output of this process is a summary of exposures and technical price recommendations for underwriters. This involves two major steps: exposure data scrubbing and modeling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Review - Verify completeness of submitted data and follow up with underwriters as necessary.
  • Data Conversion - Convert Excel data into AIR proprietary tool format.
  • Coding of COPE information.
  • Exposure Data Validation in AIR RMS.
  • Geo-coding locations and analyzing exposure.
  • Understanding of Insurance Layer Structure.
  • Ability to read and interpret insurance contracts.
  • Generate actionable insights for risk mitigation based on client data analysis.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in quantitative sciences.
  • Relevant experience in Exposure Management, preferably Property Modeling.
  • Knowledge of PC Insurance.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • SQL knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Collaborative mindset with problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with RMS, AIR - Touchstone software.
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • High-speed execution capabilities.
