  • Participating in project meetings and documenting discussions through meeting minutes to maintain accurate records.
  • Actively participating in quality assurance/quality control review sessions at project milestones to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Compiling all documentation required to submit projects to authorities for review and approval, tracking submissions, and responding to comments and requests as needed to obtain permits.
  • Managing projects through the construction administration phase by routing RFIs and shop drawings to the appropriate team member, responding to RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, issuing ASIs and RFPs, and reviewing pay applications.
  • Traveling to and visiting project construction sites to observe progress and compose field reports, which may involve day trips and overnight stays to out-of-town project locations.
  • Continually learning and staying informed of new systems, methods, and sustainable practices to benefit the collective team and clients.
  • Supporting strategic goals of the firm, studio, department, and manager, as well as understanding how individual actions contribute to achieving these goals.
  • Working independently and in a team environment to coordinate and maintain positive working relationships with other design professionals.
  • Solving problems independently and exercising good listening skills and follow-through to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Displaying excellent graphic, communication, organizational, and collaborative skills to excel in this role.
  • Being willing to work on various project types, building typologies, and architectural styles.
  • Having strong proficiency modeling in REVIT and SketchUp.
  • Growing understanding of building codes and how to apply them effectively.
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support the team and achieve project goals.
