We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Student Counselor. In this position, you will play a crucial part in converting qualified leads into paid customers, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for students, maintaining strong customer relationships, and executing targeted outreach to partners, influencers, and ambassadors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Closing Deals: Convert qualified inbound leads to paid enrollments through various channels, including phone, WhatsApp, email, and video. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales funnel from initial contact to payment.
  • Onboarding Excellence: Guide students through the onboarding process, ensuring they understand all necessary documents, timelines, and milestones. You will also coordinate handoffs with our operations team during the visa stage.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Expertise: Operate within our CRM system, maintaining rigorous pipeline hygiene, activity logging, segmenting, viewing, sequencing, and weekly reporting.
  • Partner Outreach: Conduct targeted outbound efforts to schools, counselors, influencers, and ambassadors to generate referrals and co-marketing opportunities.
  • Education and Support: Clearly explain pathways, timelines, and expectations to students. You will also handle objections related to fees, fit, and safety.
  • Achieving Targets: Meet or exceed monthly conversion and collection goals.
  • Reporting Progress: Publish weekly dashboards highlighting response times, contact attempts, show-up rate, conversion, and revenue collected.
  • Maintaining Integrity: Only engage with consented leads and maintain accurate and complete records.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3–6+ years in study-abroad/education services sales for the Indian market with consistent conversions.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in closing paid enrollments and meeting monthly targets.
  • CRM Proficiency: Intercom preferred; HubSpot/Zoho/Salesforce a plus.
  • Tech-Savviness: Google Workspace, WhatsApp Business, basic GA4/Clarity awareness, spreadsheets; comfort with call recording/QA.
  • Communication: Strong English and Hindi; additional Indian languages are a plus.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: A command of funnel math (attempts, connects, show-ups, close rate, collection rate).
