Job Overview

This senior leadership position plays a pivotal role in our organization's mission to deliver seamless integration solutions for our WealthTech platform.

We are seeking an experienced Integration Project Manager with a proven track record of leading middleware-based API and system integrations, ensuring timely and secure rollouts across internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining project scope, milestones, and success metrics for middleware/API integrations, as well as coordinating service requirements between developers and business teams.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to track and manage integration workstreams, including real-time APIs, batch jobs, Kafka/RabbitMQ, and SFTP.

In addition, the candidate will be responsible for validating data contracts, mapping, and transformation rules, ensuring compliance with API security, data privacy, and operational risk standards.

Strong documentation skills are also essential, as the successful candidate will be required to document integration touchpoints, workflows, and SLAs.

Finally, effective communication and stakeholder management skills are crucial, as the candidate will need to provide visibility on risks, blockers, and delivery status to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead integration projects across internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and secure rollouts.
  • Define project scope, milestones, and success metrics for middleware/API integrations.
  • Coordinate middleware service requirements between developers and business teams.
  • Track and manage integration workstreams: real-time APIs, batch jobs, Kafka/RabbitMQ, SFTP.
  • Validate data contracts, mapping, and transformation rules.
  • Ensure compliance with API security, data privacy, and operational risk standards.
  • Document integration touchpoints, workflows, and SLAs.
  • Provide visibility on risks, blockers, and delivery status to senior stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8–10 years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in project/program management of API & middleware integrations.
  • Mandatory: Experience in the wealth management / WealthTech / BFSI investment domain.
  • Strong understanding of system integration techniques (APIs, message queues, SFTP).
  • Familiarity with API management tools (Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway).
  • Exposure to Node.js-based architectures, Kafka, RabbitMQ.
  • Knowledge of financial data formats (FIX, OFX, JSON, XML).
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and delivery skills.
