Logistics Coordinator Role

We are seeking a dedicated and organized professional to manage the efficient movement of goods across our supply chain. The Logistics Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring timely delivery, cost-effective operations, and coordination of transportation, inventory, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shipment Coordination: Organize and schedule shipments, ensuring they meet deadlines and customer requirements.
  • Transportation Management: Coordinate with third-party carriers to arrange transportation for goods and materials. Ensure proper routing and optimize shipping schedules for cost efficiency.
  • Inventory Management: Track and maintain inventory levels to ensure availability of products while minimizing excess stock.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and review shipping documents such as bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations. Ensure compliance with regulations and international trade laws.
  • Problem-Solving: Address issues related to shipments, including delays, damages, or discrepancies. Resolve these issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Communicate with customers to provide updates on shipment status, address concerns, and resolve any issues related to logistics and deliveries.
  • Data Entry & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and any issues or delays. Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance to management.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required and bachelors degree.
  • Experience: 6 months to 1 year.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency with logistics software.
