Job Title: Senior Financial Services Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead our Investment Banking Operations team in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Trade Settlements, Cash Settlements, Commodity Settlements, Loan Syndication, Billing and Brokerage, Trade reporting, Regulatory reporting, Reference data, Corporate actions, and Security lending operations.

The successful candidate will work closely with client partners to enhance processes and controls that drive capacity and scale. They will be responsible for monitoring and capturing overall data and its status from various global functional teams across our clients.

  • Identify discrepancies and propose optimal solutions using logical, systematic, and sequential methodologies.
  • Lead, control, and motivate groups towards business objectives.
  • Audit processes, implement best practices, and process improvements.

The ideal candidate should possess strong business understanding of finance industry with special focus on capital market and derivatives. They should be good with numbers, ability to derive information from data, excellent multi-tasking, and creative problem solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently handle clients and client calls– establish self as a valued partner.
  • Escalate issues to client and internal managers to bring issues to their attention in a short span of time to avoid client escalation.
  • Build domain expertise and lead from the front.

Minimum qualifications include a Graduation (Bcom, BBA, BBM, BCA) / Post Graduation (Mcom, MBA, PGDM), 6-10 years of experience in handling a team of minimum 25 members, and good experience and knowledge of Investment Banking Operations.

Preferred qualifications include ability to manage and complete specific tasks with minimal direction, fast and decisive action in critical situations, willingness to continuously learn, upgrade skills, and stay relevant to business demands.
