Job Title: Engineering Head for Plant Engineering

We seek an accomplished and experienced leader to drive the delivery of engineering services and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the execution of plant engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring effective resource allocation, task management, and career development.
  • Act as the main point of contact between clients, internal teams, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals, expectations, timelines, and preparation of reports.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation plans to ensure successful delivery.
  • Ensure all engineering processes and deliverables meet the required quality standards and comply with relevant industry regulations and best practices.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring the efficient use of resources.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes, striving for enhanced efficiency, reduced costs, and improved quality.
  • Appraise and groom team members to improve their performance and develop their competencies.
  • Emphasize total commitment to Quality – assume complete responsibility for Quality Process Compliance for all projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience in leadership roles in plant engineering services organizations.
  • Results-driven professional with strong people skills.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP (PMI) are desirable.
  • Strong multidisciplinary knowledge, especially in Process, Piping, Mechanical, Structural, Electrical & Instrumentation disciplines.
  • Experience handling multiple customers and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills to engage with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.

Background and Experience:

  • 25+ years of experience in engineering project management, operations delivery, and plant engineering processes.
  • In-depth hands-on experience in handling multidiscipline large engineering projects in Oil and Gas, Power Plants, Petrochemicals, Refineries, and Water Treatment Plants is preferred.
  • Should have experience handling a team size of 300+ resources executing projects for large customers globally.
  • Candidate should have a growth-oriented mindset and the ability to handle dynamic growth and onboard new projects and customers.
