We are seeking a specialist to bridge communication gaps between technical and business teams. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Mandarin Chinese (reading, writing, speaking) and English, with some familiarity with software development concepts.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide language support for translation, interpretation, and review of technical/business documents in Mandarin Chinese.
  • Collaborate with software developers and business stakeholders to facilitate effective communication.
  • Support the gathering, documentation, and validation of requirements in both Chinese and English languages.
  • Offer insights into local context and nuances to ensure accuracy in deliverables.
  • If technically capable, assist in reviewing technical documents, user flows, or specifications.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) and proficient in English.
  • Prior experience in translation, business analysis, or support roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC), tools, or IT projects would be beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.
  • Availability during morning IST hours on weekdays is required.

This is a part-time contractual opportunity paid on an hourly basis.
